Meet the Parents
My nostalgia for this film probably makes me rate this cringe-inducing comedy higher than it needs to be, but so many of the bits and jokes are etched into my brain.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
It's embarrassing how many times I've seen this film. Monty Python and the Holy Grail pretty much defines my teenage sensibilities and completely opened my world to a new type of humor.
Napoleon Dynamite
This was one of my favorite movies from 2004. It is so weird and strange, and really spoke to the digital film major in me to know that you could create something so memorable with such a low budget.
Uncle Buck
I probably hadn't seen Uncle Buck since it was originally released when I was eight. I remembered two things about it. One, John Candy is amazing. Two, a huge ass pancake.
Asteroid City
As an avid Wes Anderson fan, I was not prepared for the emotional depths that he was willing to go to with Asteroid City.
